Well, the sun was shining and the weather forecast was good so we decided to pop across to the Isle of Man and have a night on the anchor outside Ramsey. Get the main up first and then un-furl the genoa – like a turbo for cars. Never mind that- the sun is shining.
Fabulous sail, after a couple of miles we were by ourselves and that was it across the Irish Sea until we got to about seven miles from Ramsey and found a boat by itself having a quiet afternoon fishing. At least we passed without making any noise other than the sound of the sea
Now, there are sunset’s and there are sunset’s. We are sitting on our yacht, by ourselves having dinner watching the world go by. After the sun had set we let of Chinese lanterns on a fabulous still night. Wonderful moments that can never be lost
