This was to be the start of our sailing holiday, however, the long range weather forecast was pretty dreadful with the jet stream still low over the continent meaning we get depression after depression from the Atlantic – which means rain!
Thought we would start with one of our favourite destinations, as if the sun shines it is simply wonderful.
We knew we would have two days of good weather so I decided to treat the teak deck, not enough for the toe rail unfortunately (so half a job)
Unfortunately we needed to get to a pharmacist, the nearest being across the Loch in Tarbert but they had no space for us and we had to wait another day for a berth that could take ConoSur.
