May has generally not been kind for sailing, so with the
bank holiday approaching we were planning on a short trip to the Isle of Man
and having a couple of nights at anchor by ourselves in the sea of tranquillity
Unfortunately the weather Gods had other plans with a big
depression hitting on Saturday night which would leave the bay in a F5-6 N to
NE wind, so both bouncy and cold.
Alternative, have a day sail while the sun was out on Saturday.
Fabulous (short) sail, just ‘out there’ and back.
