In a moment of madness we thought it would be a good idea to go out and get a speed boat, well what else would you think of on a nice summer day.
We needed something that would take all six of us with ease and we settled on the Bayliner 205SC, oh! did I mention the 5litre V8 to drive it along at eye watering speeds

Time whizzed by with the boat. Karen on camera duties and is missing from the shot. We had the boat for just one season and it was great. We got six weeks berthing discounted at Maryport Marina so we didn’t have to drag the boat back and forth.

Karen relaxing in the marina and me opening the boat up for a spin, yeha.
Had the boat to Lock Ken
in Scotland as well as out on the Irish Sea, spent most sunny weekends south of Whitehaven, only when we got slower boats did we realise how much (fun) we packed into this season

Summer holiday in Poole, the double trouble ring we were towing said 15knt maximum! It seemed to work fine at much higher speeds too.
We managed to get permission to berth the boat in the yacht haven on the front of Poole quay, in the background are boats purchased with many millions - they had tenders bigger than our boat.
