Easter weekend and the forecast of a high pressure for a
couple of days and we were off for the first the sail of the year.
It was great, quite a while since we had been out in ConoSur
so we took our time to get re-familiarised with all the controls.
Sails up and we were off. Very cold when we go to sea, might
have been a high pressure but it was a Northerly wind from the arctic.
Great night on the hook, by ourselves, just as we like it.
Next day fog, fog and nothing but fog so a slow and safe
return to Whitehaven. We feel safe with the features we have on ConoSur
including the class B AIS transceiver so we are also seen, two separate GPS
systems and HD Digital radar. So when we passed the buoy, it was well tracked.
