Leisurely sailing off the coast of Whitehaven, you can have fun on the grey days as well as when we have beaming sunshine. This season has been a huge learning curve for us and we have enjoyed every trip out no matter what the weather.

Life below decks is cool too, plenty of space for us all. A visit from Sarah and Jamie is always good for a laugh and an evening’s entertainment. So that’s where my ConoSur cap went. Our home port of Whitehaven has loads of great places to eat, drink and enjoy.

Although we have not had as much time sailing in the evenings as we would have liked, when you do get out you can experience the wonder of the evening sunset at sea, these were taken on a trip to the Isle of Man. Below, starting to get colder.

Great to share good times with friends too, Mark an Fi who joined us for the delivery and Julian. Hopefully we will all have more time in the coming seasons to enjoy time together. Middle of the Irish sea dipping ensigns with the training vessel.

Does life get much better than this? Open seas, stready SW winds and waking up on a mooring away from the home port.
It has been a great season, even though we got the boat in July. Looking forward to 2010 and sailing to more distant locations.
